CoolTech Alerts — SMS Privacy Policy

What we collect

For the CoolTech Alerts SMS program (operated by Emerys, LLC), we store the mobile number a staff member (or an administrator on their behalf) enters in their CoolTech Central user profile, together with the delivery records of alert messages sent to that number (recipient, time, delivery status).

How it is used

Mobile numbers are used for exactly one purpose: delivering operational equipment alerts — controller offline events, temperature threshold breaches, and equipment health warnings — for the refrigeration units the enrolled staff member manages. Delivery records exist for troubleshooting and audit.

What we never do

Mobile numbers and consent records are never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for marketing. No text message originating from this program is promotional. Message delivery is performed through Twilio as the carrier-facing provider; Twilio processes the number solely to deliver the message.

Your control

Removing the mobile number from your CoolTech Central profile stops all SMS immediately. Replying STOP to any message also opts you out. Questions or data-removal requests: cooltech.us.llc@gmail.com.
